Use the Statistics section to access key data about your community. It's an important tool to monitor performance, analyze user behavior and support your reporting needs.
Export data
Most charts and tables in the Statistics section can be exported in CSV or Excel format. The following steps apply to all exportable charts and tables, regardless of the section:

Select a timeframe: choose a and an end date. Wait a few seconds for the data to load properly.

Export the data: hover the graph or table, click the three dots, then click Export data.

Choose export format: select your export preferences (we recommend the left or middle option).
Users
User-related data (Userview) is a key dashboard to take many actions. Access the dedicated article here.
Applications
This dashboard is specific to closed communities.
In this dashboard, you can consult a graph representing the distribution of applications by status: Accepted, Declined, Pending and Waiting.
Gamification
Track performance related to Missions, Badges, Statuses, Roles and User detail related to gamification.
- Missions are automatically displayed based on your selected period.
- Inactive missions are hidden but can be selected.
- You can filter specific missions by ticking the box close to the relevant missions.
Use the comparison feature to analyze missions performance between two periods directly in the same graph. To do so, select a second time period at the bottom of the page.
You can export:
- Missions performance
- Badges, statuses, roles
- User activity details (points, completed missions, earned rewards)
User activity detail
In Statistics > Gamification > User detail, you can find user activity related to points, missions and rewards. To find user activity, follow these steps:
- Search the user by entering its email address or nickname
- Check for each user when the status, role, or badge was earned
- Check when the missions have been completed, and the number of points earned
For example: If a community member have more points than expected, you can export all its activities in the user details dashboard and sum up all the points won for the missions, badges or status in an Excel document. Then, you can reach to your CSM to remove the extra points from its profile.
Moderation
In this dashboard, you can track Moderated Users (flagged, blocked, banned users), Deleted Posts and Flagged Posts.
You can also consult the content of a post or a comment deleted by the user (author).
In Statistics > Moderation > Deleted Posts, the graph allows you to see the number of posts/comments deleted by the author. You can also check the deleted content in the tab below.
User of the Month
In this section, you can find two tabs:
- Data: select a period to access user data (number of posts, comments, likes, tests completed, posts and comments validated, score) and see how many times they have been elected.
- History: see all the users chosen as members of the month in the past (Id, nickname and election date).
Acquisition/Retention
This section is split into the following tabs:
- Acquisition: Users of both the community and chat widget (Number of new users and Number of users)
- Acquisition Chat: Users of the chat widget only (Number of new users and Number of users)
- Acquisition BEP: Community members only (Number of new users and Number of users)
- Referral: Top referrers, Referred users, Users acquired through referrals
If you haven’t implemented the chat widget on your website, data from the Acquisition and the Acquisition BEP tabs will be the same.
Number of Users in the community
In Statistics > Acquisition/Retention > Acquisition BEP, you can consult the number of users in the community.
- Select a period of time
- You will find the number of new users acquired over the period, the total number of users acquired since launch, and the total number of deleted users over the period
- The two graphs allow you to see the acquisition numbers on a daily basis: hover the mouse on the graph to check both the date and the number of the users acquired in a day

Interactions
In this section you can find data related to Channels, Categories and Products. Find the detailed article about this dashboard here.
Demography
In this section you can find data about your community members demographics (Country, Town, Birth year) and emails optins, in two different tabs:
Demography: This is where you can find Country, Town and Birth year data. You can click on a specific line to filter the other tables.
Optins: You can check the total number of optins and percentage in the selected period, as well as the detail of opted-in users. Opted-in users are users that accepted to receive emails from the community (manual sendouts, not to be mistaken with automatic notification emails)
You can also go to Statistics > Users, select the field “Has user accepted marketing email”, click on the filter icon in the column and select True.
Social campaigns Hub
In this section you can find data and content related to all your social campaigns. Find the detailed article about this dashboard here.
Product Campaign
This section is split into the following tabs:
- Test Campaigns: Data from product testing campaigns (Campaign, Type, Status, Number of Candidates/Invited, Number of testers, Completion and data about Reviews and Discussions).
- Application CF: Check how many users have responded to the Custom fields when applying to test a product. Filter this section by campaign and/or custom field before exporting your data.
- Reviews Custom fields: Check the answers provided by testers when leaving a review (if members can answer to Custom fields after testing a product). Filter by campaign and/or custom field before exporting your data.
- Targetted Missions: If you have created targeted missions linked to a product testing campaign, you can consult the related data in this tab.
Events
This section is split into the following tabs:
- Events
- Registration list
- Posts
Event Participants
In Statistics > Events > Events (tab), you can see the number of participants (members who registered to the events) once you selected a period. You can also check how many posts, comments and likes event got on the community.
You can download the list of event participants in Statistics > Events > Registration list. Once you selected the concerned event, you can export the data.
Contests
In this section, you can find data related to Contests, Posts, Participants, Quizzes / Polls and Comments. Find the detailed article about this dashboard here.
Emails
- Select the period and type of emails you are interested in in the drop down menu
- By default, the stats are displayed on a daily basis (date, sent, opened, clicked, unsubscribed,...)
- At the top right of the table, you can edit the frequency by selecting Week or Month
You can export data with the icon at the top right of the table.
Please note that this export is limited to 10,000 rows.
Orders
This section is split into the following tabs:
- Order: Number of orders, Revenues and Average cart on the selected period.
- Orders Chat: Orders on the chat widget only (Number of orders, Revenues and Average cart).
- Orders BEP: Orders on the community only (Number of orders, Revenues and Average cart).
Questions
This data is available only if you’ve implemented the chat widget on your website.
This section is split into the following tabs:
- Summary
- Community questions
- FAQ questions
- Customer service questions
- Exports
You can access to data such as the Number of questions, Number of answers, Answer rate, Evaluation rate, Satisfaction rate, Consultations.
Chatrooms
A chatroom-type channel needs to be implemented on your community to access data.
In that section you can see how many chats and emojis are sent on a daily basis in the chatroom, as well as the number of interactions. It's possible to filter by Channel visibility or Name, and to consult the top 100 Chats with most reactions.
If needed, you can also check the content of the chats.
Socials
In this section, you can see on a daily basis the number of posts shared on social media using a specific hashtag. It is split into two tabs:
- Socials KPI: Find data by external action (Type, creation date, platform, hashtag, number of posts, likes, comments and other KPIs).
- Details: Find data by content (UserId, name, date, platform, URL, number of views, likes, comments, shares, reach).
After creating external actions and social missions, go to this section to know how many users shared social media posts using these external actions.
Reviews
If you’re integrated with a review provider (Verified Reviews, BazaarVoice, Yotpo, PowerReviews…), you will be able to see on a daily basis the number of reviews shared by your community members on your website.
FAQs
When exporting your data, if the Excel file is empty, you can try to Export data by selecting the middle option and not the first one.
If the Excel file is still empty, please check your filters and the selected period before contacting Brand Communities teams.
If you are unable to visualize the content/the graph in the analytics, please try one of the following:
- Log out and log back in to the back office
- Check your internet connection
- Contact your CSM if the issue remains
It’s not possible to export directly the charts as seen on the back office as they’re generated with PowerBI, but you can take a screenshot of the graph if needed!
