Export and analyze application-related data (closed communities)

The Applications dashboard allows you to track data related to applications in a closed community.

Accessing the dashboard

In Statistics > Applications, you will have access to the dashboard that lets you quickly see how many applications are pending, accepted, or declined, in order to better manage member or creator recruitment.

This dashboard is available only for closed communities, as it is dedicated to tracking applications submitted to join the community.

Applications dashboard

This dashboard helps you understand the volume of applications received and their breakdown by status. It can be used to:

  • Track the number of applications to process and check whether pending applications are building up.
  • Measure the share of accepted applications compared with declined applications.
  • Spot an unusual volume of declined applications.
  • Adjust moderation workflow based on the observed flow.

How to read the data?

The dashboard has two main areas. On the left, a summary block shows the distribution by status. On the right, a bar chart uses the same statuses to compare their volume visually.

In this example, the Pending (applications waiting to be processed) bar clearly dominates, the Declined (declined applications) bar is intermediate, and the Accepted (accepted applications) bar is lower, which indicates that most applications are still pending or have been declined, and that only a small number have been accepted.

A small portion of applications is placed in Waiting (applications on the waiting list), which indicates that profiles identified as having strong potential to join the community have been spotted.

This makes it easy to quickly identify the processing load and the quality of applications.

How to analyze it?

To properly analyze this dashboard, you should:

  1. Start by looking at the balance between statuses.
If the Pending or Waiting volume is high, this may indicate that applications are still waiting for moderation action.
  2. Then compare Accepted and Declined
A high number of accepted applications may show that entry criteria are well aligned with the profiles received, while an increase in declines may signal a gap between the applications received and the community’s expectations.

This dashboard is useful for managing actions related to community access.

It helps you quickly decide whether you need to speed up request validation, review acceptance criteria, or better manage the application journey.
