Poll contests are simple, fast, and fun: to participate, members must answer one or more polls directly on the contest page.

Poll contests are perfect if you're looking to:

- Quickly activate around a product, event, or new release,

How does it work?
Step 1: Create the contest
- Follow this article to create a contest, and select the "Poll" type.
- Choose how many polls members will need to complete to participate. Their participation will only be validated if they answer all the required questions.
- Review the contest details and click "Create contest".
Step 2: Create polls within the community
Polls must be added directly from the contest page in the community (not from the back-office). Make sure to set them up right after creating the contest or before it starts.
- Once the contest is created, a pop-up will appear with the "Go to contest" button. If you didn’t click it, go to the contest page you just created in the community.
- Accept the T&Cs and click "Post".
- Click "Add a poll".
- Write a question and answer options. These can be single choice, multiple choice, text answers, or product selections.
- Click "Confirm" and repeat the process as many times as needed, depending on the number of polls defined in Step 1.
Member experience
Poll contests offer a smooth and intuitive user experience. Polls appear directly on the contest page, ready for voting.
You can pin one post per contest. Make sure to pin the first poll if there are several, and specify the participation conditions in the contest description to avoid incomplete entries.
In just a few clicks, here's what members do:
- Read the contest description and conditions, then accept the T&Cs.
- Answer the polls (all those required for a valid entry).
- Receive a confirmation of participation, and wait for the winner announcement!
Track and analyze results
In the back-office, you’ll find all the data you need to analyze your Poll contest performance, including determining the winner.
Under Stats > Contests > Quiz / Poll, you’ll be able to track participation, poll responses, and contest performance insights.
