Categories are tags that members can add to their posts. They are activated by default as filters on the Homepage (’Discover’ tab) and can be configured within Channels from the configuration panel.

When members click on a category, only posts with this “category name” will be shown.
How to create a Category
To create or update a category, go to the Rocket icon, then Categories
- Name: Name of the category (keep it short and simple)
- Position: Horizontal order of the category (you can manually reorder them after they’re created)
- Link to parent categories (optional): do not fill in unless you agreed on a subcategories strategy with your CSM.
If you want to change the order of the categories, click on “reorder” and drag and drop the categories.
All active categories are displayed, you can’t select which one you want to display.
To reactivate a category, click on “Show deleted categories” then “Recover” in orange.

- Same categories for all the plateform
- Possibility of a channel creation with all the post with the same category
Create a channel with only 1 category feed

Go the channels tab

Then click on "Create a new channel"

In the channel information >Channel type > Choose “ Category feed”

The “Category” field appear > Choose the category that you want (”Jeunes parents” bellow)
